The award-winning fiction film “Behind the Haystacks” by Asimina Proedrou is the official Greek nomination for the Oscar for Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards of the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). The selection was made by decision of the Deputy Minister of Culture, Mr. Christos Dimas, following the film’s recommendation by a seven-member committee, formed exclusively for this purpose.
The Greek Film Centre, a co-producer of the film, wishes Asimina Proedrou and the whole team “Behind the Haystacks” the best of luck! “Behind the Haystacks” is a co-production of Greece, Germany and North Macedonia.
